My Uruguay

 ATA Source & Chronicle

I spent my formative years in Montevideo, and write about those days and other experiences in a series of vignettes that are published as a monthly column in the newsletter of the British Society of Uruguay.

I spend most of my time working with words, and write about that experience in essays and articles published in translation and language-oriented magazines.

Memoirs

As a writer I go back in time and recapture certain moments of my life, then tell the story in a series of brief essays. Most of these essays were originally published in The Letter, the journal of the AATIA. I am deeply grateful to Mike Conner, the editor, for his support.
