Unplugged

My phone hasn't rung for a number of days
which would normally feel scary and strange
but I'm cruising Alaska's maritime maze
out of sight, out of mind, out of range

My mind is unwinding day by day
my body's relaxing as well
the stress I'd been holding is melting away
in the bliss of this floating hotel

I'm not checking email or sending a fax
you'd think I'd been kidnapped and drugged
I'm just rediscovering how to relax
and the pleasure of being unplugged
