The Lottery Ticket A lottery ticket came my way on an otherwise fairly ordinary day. Fabulous music filled the air for suddenly I was a millionaire. A millionaire! A millionaire! Now I’ll never have to cut my hair! Or take a number and stand in line as if I were living in the Argentine. Can’t wait to tell my working wife we’re going to start a whole new life. Time to go shopping for pretty things like fancy cars and diamond rings! Relatives who wanted yachts, now will all get lots and lots. Charity is not a crime, brother, we can spare a dime. Alas, when all was said and done, my ticket hadn’t really won. But nonetheless the ride was fine … just a fantasy of mine.
