The All-You-Can-Stomach Buffet

Whenever I need
a gargantuan feed
and a barrel of good Beaujolais
I indulge, I confess
in repulsive excess
at the All-You-Can-Stomach Buffet

I'll have pork chops and fish
several times if I wish
I am such a discerning gourmet!
I'll devour black-eyed peas
thickly smothered in cheese
and of course I'll save room for soufflé

Half the world may be starving
but I'll still be carving
roast beef for my seventh entrée
Though I'm bloated, no matter
I'll refill my platter
it's the good old American way

Come, let's wallow in food
get disgustingly crude
moderation's so very passé
We can all slake our thirst
we can gorge till we burst
at the All-You-Can-Stomach Buffet
