My email address book

My email address book lives in a file
that I alter and update once in a while
I can add and delete and edit the data
since most of it changes sooner or later

Some of those dot-com details, however,
will remain in my email address book forever:
friends and relations who've now passed on
and don't receive email wherever they've gone

I cannot delete them.
Don't even try.
I just can't bear to say goodbye.
